Pop Up Bars

The annual Halloween pop-up bars are back and in full action. Check out this list below of the bars participating in the spooky fun…

Falling for Fairlaine (until November 13th)

Beetlebar at the Parlour Bar in the Dream Hotel

Immersive Hocus Pocus Bar at Tenn Holston House

Stranger Things Pop Up at HQ Beercade

There are also loads of bar crawls and costume contests at other bars. You can find a list of those places here! If I were you though, I would hit up Santa’s Pub, a karaoke bar in a double wide trailer in the middle of a neighborhood. This is always were I have had the best times and cheap beer on a Halloween eve.

Pumpkin Patches

Wanna take some family photos or pick up some pumpkins to help decorate for your vacation rental with us for your Halloween visit?! There are pumpkins at a few family farms but no true pick em yourself spots really. Click here for the full list of patches, hayrides, and corn mazes near town. Head to 12 South or the Farmers Market for the best places in town to snag pumpkins without having to venture too far from downtown. And of course no fall/Halloween time Nashville isn’t complete without a visit to the pumpkin houses at Cheekwood. Tickets available online only here!

Haunted Houses

Take it up a notch and prepare to conquer your fears. Scare the wits out of your friends at these different haunted houses near Nashville: Nashville Nightmare, Deadland Woods, Devil’s Dungeon, and Millers Thrillers Haunted Woods. Most events are after sunset just outside of the city, so make sure to have a car if you wanna explore these ghoulish haunts!

Ghost Tours

One unique Halloween idea for Nashville is to take a ghost tour of the Hermitage, Andrew Jackson’s old plantation where he is still buried. Their ghost tours will take you around the grounds (including the cemetery) and give you time to wander around at night after creeping you out with stories of shadow figures. A cool experience if you love old American history.

Wanna visit the places featured on Ghost Adventures or Ghost Hunters on the Travel Channel?! Check out this company for the best ghost tour in Nashville. Adult only and family friendly tour options available. They also have a Haunted Pub Crawl if that’s something you’d be interested in. They even offer a discount for groups over 12 making your large group weekend possible to do cool stuff outside of the party scene. Whether you’re a group of 12 of 212, Ghost City Tours and Stay Minty will show you an amazing evening visiting Nashville’s most haunted places.

There are tons of parties and events going down the weekend before Halloween as it is on a Monday this year. If you wanna snag tickets to a private event rather than bar hop or torture yourself in a haunted house, here are a few events still with ticket available: Carnevil at the W, Demons on Demonbreun, Howl at the Moon feat. DJ Amy Darling, and Scream the Halloween event at the Virgin. Find more events and ideas here for the perfect Halloween weekend in Nashville. Like this show at City Winery…

Have kids or wanna bring the family into the city for the fun events?! Come in for Boo at the Zoo! There are special animal shows, trick or treating, costume contests and more. Click here to get tickets.
