With eight uniquely GLAMP-styled accommodations to choose from, guests will experience something new with each and every visit! Your packing list will be a bit on the short side because we go the extra mile by providing almost everything you’ll need!

All GLAMP by Stay Minty accommodations include electricity to power the mini-split units for heat and air, and kitchens/bathrooms with hot running water! We include most toiletries, guest amenities, bedding plus, bear spray and more.

❗ Your dome, though it may be full of glamorous amenities, is still very much an uninsulated tent that will be affected by the outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Please prepare accordingly and check the local weather prior to arrival. In winter it will be cold and in summer it will be hot.

Spanning 23′ across and 11′ high, LUCY IN THE SKY offers private setting for up to three guests in 1 king bed with trundle. There’s a kitchenette with everything you need to cook a great meal, outdoor charcoal grill, fire pit and relaxing spa.

Booking this listing will guarantee your stay at LUCY IN THE SKY , our dome named after the famous work by The Beatles and described as John Lennon’s “lavish daydream”. Although some suspect the song to have been inspired by a kids school painting, other say it was actually inspired by the likes of Alice in Wonderland. Either way, you’ll love the space, the setting!

At 415 square feet, the dome is larger than the average sized hotel room so there’s plenty of room to spread out and get comfy! You can expect a full sized fridge, dishwasher, microwave, countertop burner, toaster, coffee maker and electric fireplace. There’s also a small dining table and seating. Outside, you’ll find more seating, a fire pit, charcoal grill and hot tub. Throw some glitter on it and dance!

Cosby is an out-of-the-way area of the national park that is a favorite among locals and long-time Smokies visitors. Facilities are never full and picnic areas that’s spacious and never too crowded. The main draw for most people to the Cosby area is hiking. Hen Wallow Falls is a popular day hike, located just 2.1 miles from the Cosby Picnic Area. The 1.4 mile walk to Sutton Ridge Overlook offers spectacular views. It originates from the picnic area also. For more ambitious hikers, the strenuous, 10.6 mile hike to the Mt. Cammerer Fire Tower is a Smoky Mountain classic. Or try the brutal but beautiful 13-mile Low Gap Trail – Appalachian Trail – Snake Den Trail loop.

GUEST REGISTRATION
Upon booking with us, simply register your stay within 48 hours to gain access to our guest portal where you’ll find reservation and property details, access codes and other pertinent information. To complete registration, you will be asked for personal details and will upload your driver’s license and a selfie (don’t worry – it’s super simple!).

OPTIONAL FEES
The following fees are paid in addition to and after the reservation is paid for.

PET POLICY: A pet fee of $249 per pet will be applicable for your stay for pet friendly homes. This fee covers the cost of additional cleaning and maintenance required for accommodating pets, including normal pet hair clean-up. We permit a maximum of two pets per rental unit. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring your pets so we can add them to your reservation.

While we understand the joy of traveling with your furry friends, we also expect our guests to be responsible pet owners. To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests and to maintain the quality of our property, we kindly request that you adhere to the following guidelines:

Pet Waste Cleanup: It is the guest’s responsibility to clean up after their pets. Please dispose of pet waste.
Pet Pets should be well-behaved and not cause any disturbances to other guests. Excessive barking, aggressive behavior, or any other disruptive activities should be promptly addressed by the pet owner. For the safety of your pets and other guests, pets should be kept on a leash when outside the rental unit
Furniture and Bedding: Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding. Please bring your own pet bedding if necessary.
Damages: The guest will be held financially responsible for any damages caused by their pets to the property or its contents.
A $1000 minimum pet policy violation applies to pets in non-pet friendly homes and/or improper care of pets.

And great news for you, we both have the same goal: for your stay to be nothing short of perfect. With that said, sometimes the unexpected happens. You are camping and these domes, are not much different than a tent…. well maybe little cooler, but that’s why you’re here! If anything comes up, we promise to spring into action faster than Taylor Swift after a break-up and do everything we can to resolve it… and then maybe write a hit album about it. I mean, we are from “Music City, USA”.

If you have any issues or are unhappy with your stay, be sure to call, text, or email us like a good friend so we can get your stay back to minty fresh. Please be mindful that there will be bugs, temperatures will be warm in the summer and cold in the winter so come prepared to camp and enjoy the great outdoors!

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS
The primary renter must be at least 21 years old. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis for guests aged 18-21 and requires Stay Minty’s express written permission and a paid security deposit of $500 to be collected separately.. Contact us for details prior to booking.
